The change of the season occurs suddenly. One should always carry an umbrella, as the weather in Moscow is almost as unpredictable as in London.
Autumn in Moscow could be beautiful: yellow and red leaves are definitely a cheerful decorations for the gray and black streets. You may already place your bets when the first snow comes. Could be as early as beginning of October, actually. Autumn is a very workoholic time of the year in Moscow, right after summer vacations and before Christmas time: you need to catch up and to advance your carrier. Work hard!
I, for one, like autumn. My birthday is in September and got lots of presents.
