Let me lead you through the streets of Moscow

Moscow has a great number of cafes and restaurants featuring different cuisines. Take any Moscow guide and you will be overwhelmed with the offers. In my blog I will share with you my secret places, where Moscow will show you its unexpected sides. There aren't that many places, but those that I know they are worthy.
Place No1 I recommend is a restaurant Sky Lounge . I discovered it about a year ago, and been there at least 3 times and enjoyed every visit.

Three points that make this place very special:

First, it is situated in the building of Russian Academy of Science (RAS) . RAS is the alpha and omega of Russian science. In addition it is one of the most prominent examples of Soviet architecture. You will surely notice an post-modern metallic construction which has a nickname 'golden brains'. The entry to RAS are restricted only to the real scientist so as normal mortals have little chances to visit this sacral place. Except if you dine in the restaurant Sky Lounge which is situated on the 22nd floor right inside those 'golden brain'.

This location is the second special feature of the Sky Lounge. It is the only publicly accessible place that I know of that is situated so high above Moscow. After dining you could have a beautiful view over Moscow on the open-air terrace and make breath taking pictures.

What about prices? The prices are as high as the sky. This is the third very special feature of the Lounge. But that is what you pay for exclusive views and close connection to the science of Russia.

However this place is very popular, it will be difficult to get a table without a reservation. So if you plan to do photo shooting - reserve a table on the terrace. In summer time if you stay late drinking coffee (beer, schnaps) , you will see how the lightening are turned on. Very impressive.
