This post is dedicated to Tramdriver Joergen who reads this blng from Göteborg,,
Dear Joergen,
thank you in this blog and your comments about the work of Tramdrivers.

Today's pictures are specially made for you. These the trams in Moscow. Surprisingly, trams are still quite common in Moscow, though the thick traffic makes poses lots of troubles for tramdrivers. Trams lack flexibility and in rush hours that may lead to a traffic-jam of several trams in a row.

There is this bridge that I have to cross everyday and sometimes there are up to 15 trams trying to get through the traffic. One could wait 10-20 minutes for a window to cross the street. That's the reason why I do not use trams on weekdays though it runs directly to my office. I'm always sure to get to work within 40 minutes with Metro, while the traffic-jams may delay the trams for who-know-how-long. It must be a tough job the tramdrivers have in megapolices: perpetual traffic-jams and nervous passengers are not easy to survive.

On weekends when the traffic is less thick, a trip with a tram is an enjoyable adventure: it has a particular nostalgic atmosphere and great for sightseeing.

Dear Joergen, I hope your job as a Tramdiver in Göteborg is less stressful and more enjoyable. I think your project-idea about trams of Göteborg and Moscow is definitely interesting. Though I'm a bit at loss at how to help you with this project. Maybe you should undertake this project under the auspice of the transport departments of Moscow's and Göteborg's city administrations. Please, let me know what you think of the. And maybe you could share more about your everyday life as a tramdriver.

My life as tramdriver in Göteborg.I work only early service.
First i must do a security inspection on my tram in depot.Railbrake,railsandingbox,seal-fireextinguisher,doorfunction,radiocheck and more.So out on the line.
This can happen in early morning when i drive my tram from 03.40 in the dark.
Someone have toss a cycle in rail and i must brake.
06.00 - 08.00 Moderately car trafficjam and much passenger. And this ( You are late!) Yes 5 minits. ( I must get as bus).
So all these free newspaper Metro,City and Se.
When i come to end of my line i must clean up a very big volume free newspaper in my tram.Paper on floor and seat.
Sometimes with cleanhelp.
I hope yes i hope Moscow tramdrivers be spared from this paperterror.
Theme have traffic jam in range we not have in göteborg.
But i love cars.Cars is high standard cars is freedom.
I drive VOLVO my self. With love from Jörgen in Göteborg.

Hi Joergen!
I see you have a day off and looking in my blog. Thanks for interesting information about your daily work. I don’t think that tramdrivers in Moscow have big troubles with free newspapers in depot, because free newspapers will be not distributed in a tram. I have never saw this.
I very appretiate your initiative to be an virtual tourist in Moscow. It is a good idea! I’m going to prepare a guide for foreign tourists how are planning a tour to Moscow. Next time I will publish this guide and you will find answers to your questions. Have a nice week! Anni Pelmeni
